Four Winds Midstream Solutions (also known as Four Winds Energy Services) is a privately held Canadian company focused on serving the oil and natural gas exploration, production and processing industries.
A complex sales cycle and growth in operations caused Four Winds to fall behind in their sales and marketing processes. Lacking a closed-loop system, Four Winds had their information stored in multiple locations, preventing the consistency required to function efficiently. Also absent in their processes was a central system to track activities and monitor relationship dynamics which hurts measuring, reporting and new hiring processes.
We wanted to make Four Winds a company based on being proactive rather than reactive. In order to achieve this, we implemented the EnerStart suite of services. We were able to provide Four Winds with a cost effective CRM that has the flexibility to manage the complex relationships with producers, contractors and transportation Companies. By providing a structure for recording and reporting sales, marketing and operational activities, we were able to improve market planning, lead generation, customer retention and customer satisfaction using EnerStart.

POIM used EnerStart and the SalesCloud to provide Four Winds with detailed and organized contacts, accounts, oppourtunities and leads from their existing data. This information was also integrated with SalesForce Mobile to provide Four Winds with an effective and consistent tool to manage their marketing and sales activities.
Using EnerStart we were able to provide Four Winds with a central database of existing and perspective customers, partners, vendor’s accounts and contacts that will allow Four Winds to easily track sales and marketing activities and opportunities. They are now equipped with a CRM that will track and manage the complex relationships between producers, consultants and transportation companies so Four Winds can focus on the sales process.
